Twenty five years ago I obtained my Masters of Business Administration and later my Chartered Accountant designation because I wanted to know how businesses worked.  I figured if I could understand the systems and the numbers I would understand the business.

And it worked to a certain degree.  I had the skills where I could walk into any business and in a short period of time understand how the business functioned and whether they really were profitable or not. Numbers do not lie, but they can be misleading, especially when someone is purposedly telling a different story.

But something was missing.

I knew the “how” and the “what” but I was missing the “why”; the soul of the business.

The soul of a business is found in the leader’s vision, their business mission statement, their corporate culture, their employee’s dreams, and their customers.

Marketing is communicating the soul of your business.

How important is the soul of a business?

Just ask Apple. Their numbers were not lying back in 1997 before Steve Jobs returned.

My mission is to add value to everything I do and over deliver that value.

I add value because I care about your vision.

Your success is my success.
